Terms and Conditions

A. General Terms and Conditions – Life Coaching

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all coaching sessions, programs, workshops, and services (“Services”) provided by [Bas den Blaauwen] (“Coach”) to any individual or organization (“Client”).

2. Nature of Coaching

  • Coaching is a professional, collaborative process aimed at personal development, clarity, and growth.

  • Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. The Coach does not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health or medical condition.

  • If the Client requires medical or psychological support, it is the Client’s responsibility to seek help from qualified professionals.

3. Responsibility of the Client

  • The Client acknowledges and agrees that they are fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from coaching.

  • The Coach is not liable for any direct or indirect results of decisions made by the Client.

  • Coaching is a process of support and guidance, but implementation is solely the Client’s responsibility.

4. Confidentiality

  • The Coach will treat all Client information as confidential and will not disclose it without written consent, unless required by law.

5. Payment and Cancellation

  • Payment terms are agreed prior to the start of Services.

  • Cancellations must be made at least [24/48] hours in advance. Sessions cancelled later may be charged in full.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Coach shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from or in connection with the Services.

  • The Client acknowledges that coaching does not guarantee specific results.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden.

B. additional Terms and Conditions for Outdoor Coaching

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all outdoor coaching sessions, programs, workshops, and related services (“Services”) provided by Bas xden Blaauwen (“Coach”) to any individual or organization (“Client”).

2. Nature of Outdoor Coaching

  • Outdoor coaching takes place in natural environments such as forests, fields, parks, or other outdoor locations.

  • Coaching is a professional and supportive process aimed at personal growth, reflection, and wellbeing.

  • Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and the Coach does not diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions.

3. Responsibility of the Client

  • The Client acknowledges and accepts that they are fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes.

  • Client is not aloud to harm or disturb nature in any way. 

  • Outdoor environments may involve risks (such as uneven terrain, weather conditions, or natural obstacles). The Client participates at their own risk.

  • The Client agrees to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the Coach to ensure their own safety and that of others.

  • Appropriate clothing, footwear, and preparation for outdoor conditions are the sole responsibility of the Client.

4. Confidentiality

All personal information shared during coaching will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed without written consent, unless required by law.

5. Payment and Cancellation

  • Payment terms will be agreed prior to the start of Services.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Sessions cancelled later may be charged in full.

  • If outdoor sessions must be rescheduled due to severe weather or unsafe conditions, the Coach will notify the Client as soon as possible.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Coach is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising during or after the Services.

  • The Client remains solely responsible for their physical condition, safety, and decisions.

  • By participating, the Client acknowledges that outdoor coaching involves personal responsibility and inherent risks.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden.
